December 11, 2015 at 6:18 pm #63416Hi,
please read our support policy, reply are to be expected within 24hrs. No matter what the problem is. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
If you need someone available 24/7 you should hire a tech partner.
That is a function present in the core plugin. it is possible that while updating, you didn’t wait until the update was done before doing other operations and the core plugin didn’t reactivate?
Can you access the backend? If not we’ll need to go through FTP. You should move all GD add-ons out of the plugin folder momentarely while you activate the core plugin, then move them back in the plugin folder and reactivate them. If you are not comfortable with this, please provide FTP credentials in a private reply and we will do it for you.
Let us know,
Thanks

we also need wp admin credentials for the website. Or we won’t be able to re-activate the plugin.
Thanks
p.s. the shut down isn’t caused by the plugin itself, but incorrect use of it…

this is not working (you still are giving me incomplete info, the port number and ftp or sftp…).
Can you connect to your own server via FTP?
If yes, download the latest GeoDirectory version from here and upload it in wp-content/plugins wp-content/plugins to overwirte the current version. If you can’t accees your FTP, please ask to your server admin to do it.

Thanks

December 21, 2015 at 7:18 pm #64739hi,
silly that you are not able to work with datas i sent to you which had been approved and confirmend before by my provider. Silly athough that he informed me, that theme is working when gd plugin is disabled.
what happens with data records of places when installed plugin should be erased? some hundred hours of my work are spent there….
first de-install old Version and then upload new Version, or upload new Version without deinstalling running Version?December 21, 2015 at 7:27 pm #64741Hi again,
nothing will be erased from your database. Just overwrite the files you have in wp-content/plugins/geodirectory with a files from a new copy downloaded from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory
This will fix the issue.
Thank you
