Did you get private reply?
October 23, 2014 at 2:12 pm #19230I had the same problem everywhere yesterday. After I updated core, even my own plugins were throwing errors. I had to disable them all, let core finish it’s update, then re-enable them all.
I think it’s a timing problem somewhere in the update. Something hasn’t finished or core hasn’t re-activated when the other plugins try to run, and everything bombs.
October 23, 2014 at 2:56 pm #19238@ak can u provide me an admin account or make that user an admin.
@Dj afrika, please send login details.

October 23, 2014 at 3:18 pm #19248I’ve fixed it…
October 23, 2014 at 3:22 pm #19252thanks for letting me know DJ AFRIKA, is there anything particular u did when updating, maybe update several things at once or updates something first?

October 23, 2014 at 3:40 pm #19262No! I had one update available, geodirectory core. Clicked update, and it showed error in the middle of update… And on my localhost(PC) I had all updates available… Core and addons. Selected all, updated and i worked without any problems…
In case someone needs a solution, this is how I solved this problem:
1)renamed all plugin folder names then went to admin panel so they auto disable
2)renamed back original names
3)Updated all plugins on my localhost (PC) and uploaded them to website…
4)Activated all pluginsThis can probably be done without step 3.
Only downside is that I had to change all the settings again to GD addons…Btw, now I cannot select location outside of my city… Forgot how I did that last time…
SUGGESTION: addon must have ability to “remember” last settings when you enable/disable them…

I’ve added a note in our project manager tool to get to the bottom of this.
Something is preventing the plugin from re-activating after updating. With this update it seems to have happened to 4 members so far, out of few hudreds.
But it is something that randomly happened in the past with other updates to other members and we really need to get to the bottom of this.
Thx
October 23, 2014 at 5:01 pm #19276@stiofan Can you help me with location settings? I used to have ability to select location outside of my default city without having state/region/city dropdown and now I cannot anymore…
October 23, 2014 at 5:13 pm #19280Hi,
what are your current multilocation settings?
Let us know,
Thx
October 23, 2014 at 5:32 pm #19285I used to have everything set to Enable default _____ (_____ drop-down will not appear on add listing and location switcher). so in frontend there was no dropdown when adding a place and I could select location on the map outside of my default city…
Now I must select country/region/city in Admin Panel in order to add location outside my default city…October 23, 2014 at 5:37 pm #19290If you had everything set to Enable default _____ (_____ drop-down will not appear on add listing and location switcher). so in frontend there was no dropdown, that’s normal plugin behaviour not to allow to add anything outside of it.
We never provided a tool or workaround for that, so I don’t really know how to help you.
I’ll ask Stiofan and the other if they remember about this.
Thx
October 23, 2014 at 5:43 pm #19294Paolo is correct, if you have everything set as default you should not be able to add locations outside it.

October 23, 2014 at 6:05 pm #19304Ok, maybe setting were bit different (can’t remember) but I am positive that I had set it somehow so that i can select location outside of default town and that region and city name from dropdown would not change. The proof is a place that I add it few months ago… I’ve edited it now and it’s location is outside of my region/city but on dropdown it is set to my default region/city…
October 23, 2014 at 6:12 pm #19306I feel your frustration, but as I said, the plugin was designed to prevent users to add places in restricted locations. If you set all default it will allow to submit only in default.
Maybe you had customized the location manager to bypass the validation?
I did a quick search through your old posts and I don’t really find anything realted to this, so I don’t really know how we can help you.
Thx
