That is not a standard WP option, something is adding that, do u know what?

Hello!

That setting is not included with WordPress as far as we know.

That said, GD requires that images are in the wp-content/uploads folder, and that the option to organize uploads by date is selected.

Changing the folder location would be a customization.

Hi,

In the past, I’ve changed my upload file through wp-config (http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-change-the-default-media-upload-location-in-wordpress-3-5/). Recently, this option in settings>media, has become available: https://www.hongkiat.com/blog/wordpress-custom-upload-dir/.

We prefer for SEO and governance to have our media folder set this way, and to not organize into month/year based folders.

Regardless, I disabled WP Rocket, and am only using GD Booster, and have enabled Max CDN that way. This seems to have solved the problem.

Hi Jenna,

Thanks for letting us know you solved the issue for now.
I will need to do some tesing with that plugin, it seems the problem is that something is adding a extra / at the end of the url, maybe fixing that will help.
