Featured Item and Theme Question

    Dear GD-Team,

    where can i set a Customer as Featured Post (including this nice “Featured” sleeve? And how can it be displayed on top of all entrys (in search and all posts page)

    If it depends on the theme i will get in trouble because i want to hold my homepage theme as it is (development site is http://www.staging.styleplaces.de). Is it generally possible to run a theme from you combined with my “The Voux” Theme?

    You will need to add the Payment Manager and the WP Invoicing plugin.
    Payment Manager V2 is available from https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
    WP Invoicing is available from https://wpinvoicing.com/
    You will be able to create price packages that are featured at GD > Prices and Payments, and one of the options is to make the listings featured.

    You can only have one theme active at the same time, but GD should work with any WP compliant theme.

    Hi Guust,

    many thanks for your fast reply, i think i got it up and running.

    Could you tell me how i can set manually a users plan from free to one of my premium plans? i tried to switch in the backend from free to paied (customer is imported data from another system) and it switches back automatically to the free plan and not featured after saving the item?!

    If changing in the backend, you have to manually change to Featured in the sidebar.
    It should save as the new package when switching in the backend, maybe you are not waiting for the system to complete the change-over.

    OK, got it solved on my own, it´s kind of tricky a bit.

    For Standard to free i had to change expiring date first, save and then change the “role”. In the other direction the same. Days left and expiring date overrides the package plan 😉
