One of the reasons we choose GD was due to the wonderful featured listing option. It appears that some updates have been made and this feature is no longer available. We paid a good amount of mula for all that we have and now this is gone. How do we get this back on there or are we doing something incorrectly and therefore we cant get it to work?
January 15, 2018 at 2:49 am #412747Featured listings should never available if set up as part of a price package.
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if you want us to review your settings. Also provide any extra information that allows us to help you fix your problem.
ThanksJanuary 15, 2018 at 2:07 pm #412785Sorry, the question was properly asked. The Featured Listings used to appear at the top, now that seems to have disappeared. How can we make it so that our Featured Listings will always appear at the top?

Featured listings are made by creating different “price” packages using the Pricing Manager: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/pricing-manager/ . You’ll have to purchase the “Pricing Manager” addon and set it up following the instructions here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/prices-and-payments-add-on-overview/#prices
Thanks!
January 15, 2018 at 6:42 pm #412838So, if we purchase the Pricing Manager, our Featured Listings will always be at the top of any search?
January 15, 2018 at 7:23 pm #412842Hello Julian,
With the Addon installed you will have the option to sort by “Featured”.
January 15, 2018 at 10:46 pm #412864Featured listings will never be on top of the search if a user searches for a keyword. Listings will always be ordered by relevance to what the visitor is searching for.
You can show Featured listings on top on the Location and Listings pages, and any Popular Post Widget you use anywhere.
Hopefully that is a bit clearer now.
Thanks.
January 16, 2018 at 8:48 pm #413016Would you be able to create a plugin that always put Featured Listings at the top of any search?
January 16, 2018 at 10:30 pm #413049Hello Julian,
almost anything is possible with customization. Here are a couple links to discussions about search and favoring ‘featured’ listings:

If you never had the Pricing Manager before, then you would never have been able to use Featured Listings. I am guessing that maybe you used to have the Pricing Manager or we are talking about something else. Nothing has changed in that regard, so I am not sure what you think has changed, and what made you think you had Featured listings in the past unless you had the Pricing Manager.Maybe we are talking about something else, hopefully you can clarify.
Thanks
