Let’s say I have businesses that sell widgets. Some sell blue one, red ones, green, ones, etc. They may also sell round or square, or triangle. According to my client, if we enter filter search to find businesses that sell both round ones and green ones only, he gets results that include all business that have round widgets or all that have green ones. We only want to see business that have both round and green. In my computer logic classes in school, we called that a Boolean search. This seems to be coded as an OR logic, whereas I need an AND logic. Does that make sense and can if be done?
Seems to me if we are including services in a search filter, a website visitor would want to see all the services they are seeking in a particular business, otherwise they will have to filter one item at a time. Can you please help? Thank you.
