Good morning,
1. During one of your upgrades a new footer appeared on my website that I am not able to edit or change under Theme > Menu > Footer. (pic attached)
2. Secondly, I love the “Change Location” option, but it doesn’t seem to work where it lists all the cities. If you select it, it’ll lists some cities that start with an “A” and then throw in a city that starts with an “N”. Just random.
3. What is the best way to integrate a mobile app with Geodirectory?
Please let me know. Thank you guys for all your support.

2) we’d need to see this too
3) At the moment it is not possible, we are still working on the API.
let us know,
Thanks

Once users agree to be geolocated, is there a way for users to get directions to the place of interest? Perhaps a “Get Directions” link that takes them to Google Maps?
Thanks,
~JanineJune 7, 2016 at 11:55 am #2045711. Your GD Navigation was set to appear in a footer menu, so I changed that.
2. I can’t see any problems with the switcher.
Maybe you switched back from your default location, which starts with a N.
I also removed your all, all, all location as well which does not really exists.4. No, geolocation is only to show closest listings.
June 7, 2016 at 11:26 pm #205134Thanks so much. But my menu is still acting up. “Add Listing” was repeating and if I remove “Listing” from the menu it still appears on my homepage. Desktop and Mobile.
How can I add and remove the items on my menu? It’s not working.
Thank you,
JanineJune 8, 2016 at 1:09 am #205178Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
I cannot see any problems anywhere, except that you have restricted your directory to your default region now at multilocations.
June 8, 2016 at 6:23 pm #205635This reply has been marked as private.June 8, 2016 at 10:15 pm #2057761. GD > Multilocations
Set to use multi countries and multi regions and multi cities.2. It looks fine on my machine> Add CSS like this, adjust as required:
input[type="radio"] {width: 50px;}
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
3. The map was not set to auto-zoom and centered between all the listings, and they appeared all out of sight. Fixed.
4. Geolocation settings are at the bottom of GD > Advanced Search
Same problem as 3, map was not set to auto-zoom. Fixed.June 10, 2016 at 10:01 pm #206685Hi Guust,
Thank you for fixing that.
So I set the radius at 5 miles from user location (attached) but it’s not working. Right now my desktop homepage map is too zoomed out (attached) and my mobile is zoomed out maybe 30 miles.
How do you make it so the homepage map is zoomed in 5 miles from user?
Thanks.
~Janine
June 11, 2016 at 12:57 am #206726That setting “5” is for when users choose the “near me [compass]” option when searching.
You cannot show the nearest 5 miles from the user automatically. The geolocation featured checks where your visitor is, then looks for the nearest location in your database and serves that page.
June 11, 2016 at 3:51 pm #206925Good morning,
Thanks for explaining what the feature does. But I’m still confused about the zoom level of my homepage map.
1. If you can’t show “nearest 5 miles from the user automatically” what is the default miles when the user is geolocated?
2. My homepage map on my mobile is about a 30 mile radius while my desktop map is zoomed out from outer space (pic attached). Why would they be different?
Just a note, my desktop homepage map used to be more zoomed in by default before the upgrades. It’d be nice to have is zoomed in again.
Thanks,
~Janine
June 11, 2016 at 4:18 pm #206943Hi,
your desktop home page is showing the everywhere location, zoomed automatically to include all listings in your map.
If ytou don’t want it that zoomed, go to multilocation ìand change the “Home Page Results” settings to show the default location.
Thanks
June 12, 2016 at 8:57 pm #207330Hi Paolo,
I did the changes you recommended and it didn’t change the zoom for my desktop homepage. It’s still centered between all the listings.
My mobile homepage map is fine.
Thanks,
~JanineJune 13, 2016 at 4:20 pm #207807Hi Janine,
it looks like a new bug that slipped into the location manager. I can recreate this in our demos too.
I asked to the developers to fix this and let us know asap.
Thanks
