I am new to this project, and develop PHP projects of our own. WPGeo is fairly complex for a noob, and I’ve asked a few questions to get our project underway.
I was told by a couple on the forum I can have a product search. I want to have a listing of products where a user can select a product, and see the nearest retailers which carry it.

I’m learning GeoDirectory, so bear with me (and thank you.) 🙂
Let’s say I have 100 places in a region, and they are all retailers.
Is there a plug-in I can adapt to show which products they each carry?
With the geolocation and search, could I create a list of products in a checkbox and have the visitor show where they can be found closest to them?
The visitor would see products, perhaps as simply as being attached to retail locations as categories.
I’m talking about a universe of 200 products, and the need to show which of my retailers carry them.
I’m happy to pay for expert help.

Hi Jason,
Yes you could create products as custom fields and in that case, if the advance search addon is installed and configured, users could search for listing nearby by custom fields (products).
Let us know.
(And thank you Paolo)
Ultimately I need to be able to present products with their descriptions (a logo for each product would be nice), and find the retailer closest to the customer’s geolocation.
If you’re willing to help me tackle this, please let me know.
My cell # is 423-544-1801 (Chattanooga, TN USA) if anyone wants to have a chat.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
