I am trying to add franchise on the front end. It is not intuitive at all. I would strongly encourage you to improve the documentation on using Franchise for front-end users.

    1. Is it correct that the front-end user must first create a main listing, wait for it to be approved by the admin, before being able to add a franchise?

    2. What if a lister on my site decides later on — e.g. a few months after they added their main listing — that they want to add a second location? Do they have to first go into the main listing and check the “Enable Franchise” box?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    1. Y
    2. Y – or view the main listing on the frontend to add a franchise.

the reason it works that way is because the franchise listings usually share much of/most of the information of the main listing. The franchise options allow the user to decide which/how much is shared, saving the trouble of needing to keep the franchise listings up to date.

We will consider your feedback for the V2 update coming soon.
