I have purchased a 90-day Geodirectory license (already expired) and will renew for another year soon after all areas of the https://Visite.ME site have been completed. I noticed that some errors in the advanced search area are occurring, eg: Search without term selection: 1-When searching beaches in São Sebastião, comes all the beaches launched on the site; 2-When I try to launch a field in the advanced search term of the post type returns a message that cannot be added. These errors are due to not having updated or renewed the license, when I made the purchase informed me that even without renewing the plugin would work normally, just would not receive new updates. Thanks
January 17, 2020 at 12:16 pm #526125Sorry, this is the link to one of the issues: https://visite.me/o-que-visitar/categoria/praias/brazil/sp/sao-sebastiao/
January 17, 2020 at 1:02 pm #526139Errors never will be because you have not updated or renewed the license.
Errors can be because you are not using the latest versions of the plugins, theme or WordPress, or conflicts with other plugins, or an error in your setup. Can you give the URLs of the search results pages that you think give an error?
Or more detail, because I don’t understand the problem.
All seems to work OK, except that you have not set up Billing for your Google Maps API.Thanks
January 17, 2020 at 1:37 pm #526145Thanks for the reply follows more details. The link I sent is a search for beaches in the city of São Sebastião and returns with beaches in other cities, such as Jericoacoara (print1). When I try to add the fields in post type settings, it returns the error that is in print 2. Link: https://visite.me/o-que-visitar/categoria/praias/brazil/sp/sao-sebastiao/
January 17, 2020 at 1:48 pm #526149INFORMATION COMPLEMENT: Reviewing Visit.ME’s wp-admin, I found this message that wasn’t there.
January 17, 2020 at 1:56 pm #526153That is not a search page, but an archive page that you linked to.
You will have to check the shortcodes you added to the GD Archive page. You have 21 plugins that need updating, that may be the reason.
For example, you are using the latest version of the core plugin, but an old version of the search plugin and the custom post plugin.
The latest version of the core plugin will only work correctly with the latest versions of the addons. If you update to the latest versions and still have a problem, then we can check.
Thanks
January 17, 2020 at 2:52 pm #526159So the information I was given when I bought the license was wrong, the plugin only works if there are updates and to have them only renew the license. Pending renewal plugins are Geodirectory add-ons. They should give more accurate information when I went shopping, thanks.
January 17, 2020 at 3:45 pm #526168You were informed of the terms and conditions at purchase point and reminded of the support policy in previous topics.
Sites using premium plugins need a license to receive support.
January 18, 2020 at 12:11 am #526260Have a look at the FAQ at https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/
The plugins will continue to work, you will no longer have access to support and updates for them. In such case you should avoid updating anything else, which is the only thing that could create new conflicts.
See also the attached image.
You can try using an older version of GD Core, but support is only available for the current stable versions. See https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
We exclusively provide support for the latest version of both the Core plugin, add-ons and themes.
Support for Free Users (non members) is provided for website where only the core plugin is installed and used. If addons are installed and used (even only one addon), the user will have to subscribe again before being able to receive support. You can find older versions here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/advanced/
Thanks
January 18, 2020 at 8:31 am #526293I understand and I will renew the license. Answer me just one thing: Where can I find the shortcode for the GD ARCHIVE ITEM TEMPLATE page that filters available listings by location.
January 18, 2020 at 9:21 am #526302GD > Settings > General tab > Pages sub-tab > GD Archive Item > Edit.
The Archive Item cannot be filtered by location, it is only to create the display of each listing in the GD Listings widget or the Archive and Search pages.Archive pages are normally automatically filtered by location if you use the
[gd_loop_actions] [gd_loop layout=2]
shortcodes.
Thanks
January 18, 2020 at 11:03 am #526315Thanks for the reply. That’s the problem, I’m using the default shortcode on the Achive and Achive Item pages and it doesn’t work. See the print: Search for properties in the city of São Luis and return in the city of São Sebastião.
January 18, 2020 at 11:59 am #526322Sorry but at this time we cannot help you. If you update to the latest versions and still have a problem, then we can check.
Thanks
