    Since the new update my category pages say GD Archive at the top. how can i remove this?

    I’m having the same issue. I’ve read some threads about Yoast SEO causing this, but I don’t have Yoast installed. It seem to be somehow theme related, because if I use the Twenty Nineteen theme it works, but switching to my custom theme (based on JointsWP) it breaks and archive titles just shows the page title GD Archive.

    I’ve tested a few themes from the WordPress theme directory, and for example Appointment (https://wordpress.org/themes/appointment/) shows the same problem.

    If you are using Yoast, there is a fix coming in 20056 which will be out very soon. Please wait for that update and if you still have the issue write back and we will check on it.

    If you aren’t using Yoast, please make a new topic and we will take a look. It can be a theme issue.

    Sorry to bother again, do you know when this will be sorted as I need to get my site live again asap?
    Alternatively is there another way around it in the meantime?
