On ThingsToDoInNC.com I’m getting a 500 error every time I activate GD Booster. I totally lose the site and have to go into cpanel file manager to manually the plugin manually by deleting it so I can restore the site.

Can someone look into this for me? This site is only using GD plugins really…

GD Booster is only compatible with GD V1:

    Thanks

Weird, I’m using it with V2 on VeganLinked.com

Possibly some other configurations or maybe never turned off and on.
WP Super Cache is the recommended plugin, GD Booster will not get a V2 version.
    Thanks

Still weird, why have GD Booster as one of the extensions in the new V2 interface for extensions then?

Also, I’m pretty sure I turned it off by deactivating it and then turned it back on since the V2 site where gd booster is working VeganLinked.com was a conversion and I had to disable all the V1 plugins to convert it…

Good point, we’ll have to remove them.

… version and I had to disable all the V1 plugins to convert it…

There is no need to disable V1 addons to convert to V2.

I must be thinking of something else then, sorry. I had to disable some plugins, but now that you mention it, those may have been just non-gd ones. Maybe I didn’t, I must have had it already installed… I can’t remember what I did now. I’ve done too many things over the last week i guess… lol

GD Booster should be compatible with V2 too, only it will be soon discontinued, so it’s not really wise to use it.

    Thanks

Ok… too bad, I don’t like any of the other options. Like WP Super Cache causes major malfunctions with elaborate layouts using Divi. Do you guys think WP Super Cache is the best and necessary for optimum load speeds?

All caching plugins should be reset after making design or permalink changes. Does WP Super Cache still have a problem if you do that?
