GD Booster producing 500 error

Hi, thanks for a great platform. I have just built a GD+BP site. I installed GD Booster a couple days ago. I am seeing 500 errors. This happened right away when I first installed, but it seemed like de-activating W3 Total cache and re-actvating was enough to get things running. But then after a day or two the homepage refused to load, with a 500 error again. I could view non-home pages and log in as regular users but I could not view homepage (500 error) and I could not log in as admin (perhaps because my Authy 2FA was entangled in whatever was wrong). I de-activated GD booster from phpMyAdmin and my site is working. Can you please help me get Gd Booster running
