Hello,

I have the latest version of WordPress, I am using the Supreme Theme and Beaver Builder to construct the site. I am creating a new listing, updating it, and launching Beaver Builder to lay out everything. When I click on Save and Publish, it is returning this error and I have to delete the URL in the address bar and go back to the WP Admin page. This more annoying than anything but it is starting to get more frequent. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Now it isn’t even letting me launch the Page Builder. Please let me know what you think and I will create a support login for you to take a look.

Interesting, I haven’t received any emails about this. I happened across this thread.

I’m out of town on business and will have a look at this when I get home. Can you tell me what version of the plugin you’re on?

Jeff,

The version that I am using is 1.3.7.5. This error is stopping me from creating any new listings. Is there an estimate on when you would be able to take a look at this? I am going to deactivate it for now in hopes that I can still move forward with building my site.

Paolo,

As a follow up, I can’t even create new places. I add a new place through Geodirectory and click the Page Builder option, Beaver Builder, it launches like usual but it doesn’t allow me to install one of my templates. I have tried picking different templates, it looks like it’s installing, and then nothing happens. Any ideas?

page builders can be used to build pages and posts, not listings.

Paolo,

With Beaver Builder, I have been able to create Templates that I have used to build out most of my listings. Within the template, I have been able to create a default layout complete with photos, descriptions, and even galleries with predesigned settings. I have found this a much faster way to build out each listing. Within the last day or two, like I mentioned above, it is no longer working like it has been on the 20 or so that I have already built out using this method. I can supply GD support credentials if need be so someone can take a look and help me resolve this. I am also attaching a screen shot.

hi,

as far as I know, that has always been impossible. Beaver Builder or any other page builder won’t know how to replace a GD template.

Do you have an example of listing that you were able to modify the template for via the builder? We will need link and admin credentials.

I’ve asked to Stiofan to join the conversation too, in case I miss something.

I could see the problem with BB but i could not replicate it, if i start a new listing it works… GD CPT pages were never designed to work with it but i dont see how it would cause a problem. maybe you should ask BB support?

Thanks for looking Stiofan. Oddly enough, I went back into Design>Listing>Exclude selected tabs from detail page> added Related Listing and everything went back to normal. I don’t know why it worked but it did and that’s all I care about. I appreciate the help.

Also, what plugin would you recommend as far as image optimization. My site is highly image oriented and I don’t want to slow it down because of all of the content. Thanks.
