AnonymousHi guys
I’m using GDv2 and WordPress 5.3.2
I’ve been working on my site for an area for registered logged in users. I set up a custom account page and added the GD_dashboard so they can manage their listings. Everything was working without fault, when I used the ‘MY Listings’ dropdown it linked to the author archive page with all listings present and options to edit, delete and upgrade.
I’ve recently installed usersWP. I’m not using the profile section, I’m just using as a registering login/logout system. It is working fine when it comes to registering and logging in or out, the problem is that the GD_dashboard on my custom account page has stopped working. The ‘Add Listing’ is fine but the ‘My Listings’ still links to the author archive as the URL is correct but it just says “OOPS! THAT PAGE CAN’T BE FOUND”. The problem is caused by usersWP because if I go to plugins and deactivate it the GD_dashboard functions correctly.
I guess I’m missing a setting somewhere.
Just as an additional note, within usersWP in the profile tab I have the setting Disable author redirect to UsersWP profile page checked
Kind Regards
ChrisJanuary 26, 2020 at 1:13 am #527398If you use UsersWP, you need to use the UsersWP profile page to show users’ GD listings.
1. UsersWP > Addons > GeoDirectory > Add the custom post types you want to show for a user
2. UsersWP > From Builder > Profile tabs > Add Listings as a tab. Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if we need to check your settings.
Thanks

AnonymousHi Guust
Thanks, I stripped the profile page back to just uwp_profile_tabs using a shortcode. I changed a few settings and managed to re-establish a link to my listings. Needed some CSS styling changes but all good now. I didn’t know that the profile page was absolutely necessary and that it overrides the author archive page. Thanks

AnonymousHi
Sorry about posting again but I’ve got another problem with this.
Now that I’ve established a link with the profile page to show an owner their listings it is only working if that owner has listed in more than one CPT.
One or more listings can exist but if their all within one CPT the profile page just shows a notification that says “No Places Found”. I’m not using the Places CPT and it isn’t selected to show in the addon section of usersWP. All the actual listings are being ignored.

AnonymousHi,
I found a workaround solution to this. Don’t worry about it anymore.
Thanks for your help.
