Thanks Paolo and Stiofan.
Paolo: It actually prevented my shortcodes from working on my profile pages.
I have actually found the issue, unfortunately, it appears to be a bug with the system. I am not a programmer! lol
But I looked at the PHP code and saw that it was calling for a taxonomy, I then changed my category settings in GD from Check box to Ajax Linked. This fixed the issue and my shortcodes started working again, and the error message went away
I really need to use check box as ajax linked is almost unusable for my needs, could you please advice?
December 15, 2014 at 6:55 pm #24407Also, as an aside: I am trying to accomplish 3 things.
1. Get user Instagram and Twitter Via front end using custom post custom fields in GD
2. Dynamically Populate two tabs “Instagram” “Twitter” based on the user entries by showing the users live feed.
2a ==> I plan to accomplish this by dynamically updating a short-code with this data3. Right now, it appears I can only put shortcodes in the post details text box. It appears to just show the raw shortcode ([iam a shortcode]) everywhere else. Is this true, and how can I rectify this?
example==> Notice the user instagram feed

The problem with the shortcode plugin should be looked into, by the shortcode plugin author 1st to see why it’s not able to work with the ajax selector.
All other 3 things go beyond support provided here and are to be considered as customizations.
If you want I can move this into the jobs section so you can call for developers.
Thanks

December 16, 2014 at 4:40 pm #24528Hi, sorry I was long winded earlier. I will try to be more succinct. My purpose is not to reinvent the wheel.
Great job on version 0.0.3 by the way!
1. When i change my category picker to check box or anything other than ajax chained, I get that error mentioned earlier.
2. How can I access the theme’s template to move the picture thumbs above the big gallery, as opposed to below?
3. After using the social importer, the picture thumbs do not match up to the Big gallery picture. ==> http://www.vipbottlelife.com/places/united-states/georgia/decatur/night-club/cafe-istanbul/
5. Please, please, do you have any quick css that you used for making the search box look more modern (bigger and thicker) and responsive?
6. I am attempting to create a button like “review this place” that links to reviews tab, I linked it to href “#reviews”. Any quick advise? ==> http://www.vipbottlelife.com/places/united-states/georgia/decatur/night-club/cafe-istanbul/
I apologize in advance, if i am not within the context of this forum. Thanks!
