Dear support team,
I am having the issue not able to re-import data correctly after export and adjustment of data. I am using the instructions https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/ properly, as well the import seems to work but is not changing the data after finalization.
Here a more detailed failure description:
We have been trying to upload the data from past week. After we upload the data it shows it has been uploaded (updated). Later when we export the list from the website, the data we uploaded isn’t reflecting on the sheet. We have tried this several times. But still the same issues are repeating.
I have done the following steps steps:
1. exported data (Gastronomies)
2. copied and adjusted the file “gd_hospitality_1604180916 – import”
3. re-imported
but without proper results.Import Screenshot > https://www.screencast.com/t/lryGay69QkJb
URL import/export
Screenshot before adjustments > https://www.screencast.com/t/AGHcJuvgScreenshot after adjustments > https://www.screencast.com/t/wHJh5G9J
Please help to find out, why the changes are not updated after import the file.
Best Alex

Give us details of at least listing and the changes you were expecting?
For example I can see that the “geodir_usertype” has changed for listing 1591.
I re-exported and the export file looks like the import file, so things must have gone correctly. Can you explain exactly what you think the problem is?
April 16, 2018 at 2:05 pm #426814Hi Guust,
the file import does not effect as it should you can compare the files
Attachments:
gd_hospitality_1604180916-import.csv
gd_hospitality_1604180916.csvas well the screenshots
Screenshot before adjustments > https://www.screencast.com/t/AGHcJuvg
Screenshot after adjustments > https://www.screencast.com/t/wHJh5G9JTo see that i.e. pat O’Brien’s is still set as scheduled instead of published.
Here is my first result of data adjustments made to enable a new file import but without the reflecting on it working proper after import.
I am already testing the re-import of hospitaltity (Gastronomie) data after adjustment for the same. I found some problems (not set price type “0” of nightlife, as well schedule date in “July” instead of already done, etc.) in file after export as those could be related after not proper import from you last week.
Looking forward to your help and thoughts.
Best, Alex
April 16, 2018 at 9:03 pm #426852Hi Alex!
Thank you for providing an example.
From over here, looking at Pat O’Brien’s, that listing appears to have an invalid status of ‘future’.
Try updating that to ‘draft’ so GD’s importer is given permission to overwrite a known status (‘draft’) during the update/import.
Other issues or update failures? Let us know.
April 16, 2018 at 11:56 pm #426862“Scheduled” is not a GD setting, you are using some other plugin I guess.
The only options for GD are draft, pending and published, which you select from the sidebar when you edit the listing in the backend.April 17, 2018 at 11:53 am #426949Hi Alex & Guust,
it seems that I have found the problem of “scheduled” status. I was the “post_date” setting in the file of the CSV table. Where from whatever reason the time was set in future date not actual or past date. By correcting that and re-import of data. Those where properly imported and the listings are now displayed.
I hope this helps for understanding and let me do some more further testings to see if it is solved.
Best, Alex
