GD Location Switcher – hiding cities

Hello,

I’m using a shortcode for displaying locations on one of our pages. [gd_location_switcher]

There is one problem with this shortcode and I wonder if it can be tweaked a bit.

By default, there are two columns when the page opens, first column shows the states and second one the cities.
The problem is that on the first load, no state is selected and ALL cities are shown, from all states. We have a bit over 22.000 cities preloaded, so opening this page with no selection made is quite slow and the list is huge.

Is there any way to make the cities list not showing if the state is not selected first? Or other solution, having a default state selected? That would decrease the city list size.
