    Hello,

I am assisting someone in creating a directory on their site. I have a decent amount of WordPress experience, but building a directory is brand new to me, so apologies in advance for any naivety!

I see how to make the GD Map as the homepage, and I see how to show GD navigation in a selected menu location.

What I am having trouble figuring out, however, is how to go about putting the directory on a specific page of the site, while keeping the existing theme (blog posts, pages, content, etc) as the “main” part of the site.

Ideally what we would like would be http://www.examplesite.com/directory where the ‘directory’ page goes to the Directory and can be accessed via the Menu/Nav Bar on http://www.examplesite.com. Does anyone know of some documentation that could help in this?

    Thanks in advance!

Hello Daniel, you can set the Permalink in the Geodirectory settings and set “Location url prefix” to “directory”.

Also, if you don’t want to use your own page for the homepage, remember to untick “Geodirectory home page” from Geodirectory/Design
