    Hi all, i have a problem with the Plugin:

    GD popular Post View

    I placed it in a custom page and i see correctly the grid with the preview and the name of each listing…BUT i see the rating stars all empty (ratings are present) and review = 0 (review are present).

    Is it a Bug?

    hi,

    the only thing that I see that could be causing that is another plugin. Can you please try disabling all non GD plugins momentarely and let us know if the problem goes away?

    If it does, please reactivate plugins one by one until you find the one creating the problem so that we will know where we need to fix this.

    Ok found it.

    It’s the “WPML Multilingual CMS” plugin.

    It makes also a strange error:

    if i go from homepage to the russian flag, it correctly goes on the russian Homepage.
    From the russian homepage i click the “Top 10 Museum” but the result page is in english and can’t be changed clicking the default english flag

    … How can we fix it?

    it seems it depends on WPML Multilingual CMS…
    should Geodirectory be compliant with WPML?
    Will it be fixed this bug?

    Hi,

    this problem: From the russian homepage i click the “Top 10 Museum” but the result page is in english and can’t be changed clicking the default english flag

    Is due to the link in home page being created with visual editor. I don’t know if visual editor lets you create a different link for every page.

    In addition currently there is no russian translation (or any other language) for that page.

    yoursite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1310&action=edit&lang=en

    WPML doesn’t automatically create translated pages for you, it gives you an option to create them.

    Hi,

    Kiran had a look and it seems that on the 12 best museums page, there is a strange conflict.

    If you check html for the add to favourite boutton of the colosseum listing you will see ID 1310. If you enter the listing the same favourite button has the correct ID 1129.

    Did you customize the shortcode in any way? Could you please provide FTP and phpmyadmin/cpanel credentials.

    i’ve checked the page.
    The only modify is :

    [gd_popular_post_view title=”Which is the best one for you?” category=25 post_number=12 layout=3 list_sort=high_rating]
    [gd_recent_reviews title=”What others say” count=3]

    can be it the error?

    What shows in that page is different from what the normal shortcode would show.

    I see a category link for example that normally would be there.

    There must be some custom code somewhere to make that happen.
