    Hi
I currently have upwards of 90 categories for my directory.
I need to use the ‘GD > Popular Post View’ widget to display each category on it’s own separate page, however when configuring the widget I can only select from 18 of the possible 90 categories.

Is there perhaps another way I can approach this?

    Wordpress Version 4.4
    Geodirectory Version 1.5.6
    GeoDirectory Location Manager Version 1.4.3

    Thank you

Every category automatically has its own page already, there is no need to create pages for that. All listings have links to their category, and you can use GD > CPT categories and GD > Popular categories to link to them.

I would prefer to create my own pages so the pages and content can be designed and customised with ease for the needs of the website, as well as for SEO purposes.

How else can I add the category listings to individual pages using a widget?
Or why can’t every category appear in the ‘Popular Post View’ widget?

    Thank you.

You can choose to show listings of “All” categories in the ‘Popular Post View’ widget.
You can also choose to show all categories in the ‘Popular Post Category’ widget, by selecting a very high number in the widget.

You can create a menu at Appearance > Menus to show all categories of a CPT, and then add a “Custom Menu” widget to your page.

Is there a way I can utilise the ‘Cat ID’ in the ‘Place Category’ settings to display the listings of a certain category on a page using a widget or any other means?

Maybe the shortcode solves your issue?

Without knowing the extent you are customizing the pages, I really think it is a lot simpler to use the GD category pages, and personalize them using the Category description, and conditional widgets etc, rather than creating WP pages for each.

I would have suggested to use the shortcode as well, however you should be able to see all 90+ options on that select.

Please provide a link, wp admin and ftp credentials and we will ahve a look.

    Thanks
