    Hi,

i have found an article which role to use in WP GD, but i am not sure, if that solve my problem. I use WP 5.2 and WP GD v2. I have Plugin WP Users installed for users who want to register. A registered user may logon in WP frontend and create/modify a profile page for himself. Also he can create/edit articles in his name and publish them. So i just want to know, how i can hide menues in WP backend, after users logged on. I have an screenshot added here. Many thanks.

    Best regards Roman

    Hi Roman Hoeller,

Thanks for your post. You’ll need to use some 3rd party plugins like https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/ to achieve this.

GD is designed to be used in the frontend so you can forbid/restrict users from access to the backend. That is done by denying access to the backend by role in the GD Settings (General Tab). We do not provide additional features or customizations for hiding other menu items, only this particular feature that forbids users from entering the backend.
