    Please help,

I have the latest versions of everything.
But when editing the Search page, after adding this shortcodes, the admin tries to render the frontend in the “divi” area:

    [gd_notifications]
    [gd_map width=”100%” height=”425px” maptype=”ROADMAP” zoom=”0″ map_type=”auto” post_settings=”1″ marker_cluster=”1″]
    [gd_search]
    [gd_loop_actions]
    [gd_loop layout=2]
    [gd_loop_paging]

I disabled divi and revomed all shortcodes, but nothing changed.
I logged in as admin in a fresh anonymous tab and nothing.

I’ll add credentials if you need to take a look.
    Thanks.

Please notice that when I do change on GD Settings > General > Pages where the Search page belongs, the problem disappears and the “freed” page renders fine again.

It looks like when GD assigns its Search Page there on that assigned page the problem will appear if using Divi (front-end intrusion into admin area).

You can try it as I created two Search pages. One called “Search page” where the problem occurs, and another called “Search Page” (uppercase “p”) where you can switch to be the directory’s search page on settings.

    What to do?

When using Divi the Details, Archive, and Search Archive templates all need/must to be created with the Divi builder.

You are great, thank you! Can I ask why it happened to avoid it in the future?
    Thanks,

    You’re welcome!

We add compatibility fixes into GeoDirectory so you don’t have to worry about managing snippets for that, just keep GD updated.

If you run into any issues like that again, let us know with a new topic.
