Hi,
Can someone please tell me if GD v2 / Supreme Directory works with the v2 Events Calendar plugin and social importer?
Thank you,
RobertJanuary 14, 2019 at 6:55 pm #463208Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply. I believe you are referring to the “Events Manager” plugin which is compatible with GDv2 as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
Thanks!

This can happen if events was not active during conversion.
Though it does seem to be a bit weirder as the details table info only has one post but the events seem to have 13, did u maybe try to delete them?If you don’t need to recover the current events then i can fix it quicker, if u do need to then i would need a backup of that events table if you have it?
Let me know.

January 15, 2019 at 6:25 pm #463380I supposed I have to add the Events calendar link to the top menu because I don’t even see a blank calendar now….
January 15, 2019 at 10:32 pm #463395I do see the Event listings after adding the Event link to the top menu and clicking on it.
Is there a way to display the calendar at the bottom of the page that has a mention of the event with link to click on?
Thanks,
RobertJanuary 16, 2019 at 4:12 am #463425Hi,
When new plugins are enabled you may need to do some setup.
If you want a link to the add listing page for event, you can add it as a custom menu item. The link is like: /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_events – you will need to update that based on the name of your add-listing page.
The event calendar in GDV2 is a design element. Docs about using elements:

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/personalize/January 17, 2019 at 5:24 pm #463755Hi Alex,
I just updated all of the plugins / prior to that I added the Events link in the top menu and it does seem to be linking to the Events that are posted as you can see here: https://shoprva.com/events/ Please let me know if this looks right to you with GD v2 & Supreme Directory / Events Calendar v2…?
I have two other questions regarding this layout:
1. Is there a way to get the FOOTER of the site to display at the bottom of this and all other pages? (it seems to be missing suddenly)
2. Does the calendar have a way to display an icon or company logo w/ link in the corresponding date of an event when using the larger calendar in full-width view on a page?
Thank you,
RobertJanuary 18, 2019 at 11:01 am #4639131. Only non-Archive pages show a footer. The footer on your home page is being overridden by your customizations in Supreme. We will not be able to help you with Supreme issue while you are customizing the child theme.
2. The events calendar is very simple and only shows a highlight on days when there are events. Additional features are under consideration for future version. Adding functionality now would be a customization.
