GDC Plugin changes my homepage

hi. I have a static homepage and use the divi theme. I installed GDC and set it up. It works fine but now my actual homepage shows the archivepage with blogposts. When I deactivate GDC it is back to the normal static page. What can I do? I went through all settings and cannot find anything.

WP Settings > Reading > Front page displays > A static page (select below) > Front page:
