Hi,
I am having an issue whereby the general pubic, (anyone not logged in) are seeing every category listing on the top of the page and the search CPT selector stays at the default Community one, logged in users see only the relevant CPT categories and the CPT drop down shows according to the icon clicked.https://dev.discoverstmargaretsbay.com
Try clicking on food and accommodation icon, the page that opens is the one showing the problem.
TIA
MikeOctober 24, 2018 at 5:14 pm #451137Hi Mike,
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, the login credentials you shared on another page doesn’t seem to work. Could you update it again here in private reply so that I could check on it?
Thanks!

I tested that, it’s not that plugin, this has been not working for a week or so and I only put the ajax search in yesterday.
MikeOctober 25, 2018 at 12:50 pm #451209It works on all your categories pages, but not the CPT pages.

October 25, 2018 at 2:11 pm #451220Hi,
The main icons at the top of the directory home page are the clients main navigation at the clients behest. If I can get them to point to the category pages that would be great. As you say it works on them.

Is there a role function you know of, that if blocked would prevent the switch of the drop down?

October 29, 2018 at 2:07 pm #451695Hi Kiran,
Thanks for that, looks good here.
I wonder if you could give me a bit of background as to what broke what, and what fixed it 🙂 I can let the Membership 2 guys know about the issue? They are always interested in issues. Is this likely to recur? I suspect the client may modify user accounts in membership once they get into the detail of the site. I would not want to brake it again by using the wrong setting.

This is only conflict & not a bug, so we have managed it from our side. We have updated in our plugin so don’t worry for the future updates. 🙂
