I just installed whoop. I get four warning message at the top of my screen when I activate the Geo Directory plugin. With these, the theme does not work.

    They read:

Warning: session_start(): open(/home/content/a2pewpnas01_data01/54/3984254/tmp/sess_0pepc4ge88ep51hn7pib5ai7m3, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /home/content/a2pewpnas01_data01/54/3984254/html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/geodir-class-session.php on line 280

    Can this be fixed?

I would ask your host to fix your PHP sessions.

    Hello Stiofan,

Thanks for your reply. I contacted my host, Go Daddy, and they want to know what you would like them to set the permissions to. Should I have them set the permissions to a 757? If not, what should they set them to?

    Thanks for your help.

They also said that there is no sessions folder. What should I do?

    Hi David,

If they don’t know how to set the permissions on the session folder… Move host 🙂

Are you on WP managed hosting? If so this might be a caching thing, ask them to move you to normal hosting.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
