    Hello!

    I have finished a po/mo translation into Spanish but I don’t know where do I have to upload in order the web appears in Spanish. I have uploaded in every “language” directory with no results.

    Please, let me know where do I have to upload the po/mo.

    Hello, you should upload the file in wp-content/languages/geodirevents

    Thank you for the answer but I have already tried that solution with no luck. The core is translated and working fine but I am not able to load the added plugins like events 🙁

    Have you tried deleting the cache in your browser (or if you are using cache plugins, delete it from there too)

    No cache in browser neither in wordpress. I have tried other directories but it is not working. It is weird because the core translation is working :/

    Hi,

    there is only one place where you should upload your mo files for events and that is:

    /wp-content/languages/geodirevents/geodirevents-es_ES.mo

    please provide a URL, wp admin and FTP credentials and we will have a look.

    Finally I have events translated an working fine but there is a problem: Geodirectory use short labels for the event calendar (M, T, W, T, F, S, S) so I cannot translate Tuesday and Saturday because the template use the same label for days Tuesday-Thursday and for Saturday and Sunday. In Spanish, we have different starting letter for the days.

    The po-mo only have the letters: S-M-T-W-F for the days of the week.

    I think the solution is to get the calendar with at last 3 letters for each day. How can I do this?

    Hi,

    sorry for the late follow up. I was just cleaning up our task list and this is defintely something we worked on and should be fixed.

    In Event Calendar widget option added to choose day of week display format. It can be choose one of

    M => 1 digit, Mo = 2 digits, Mon => 3 digits, Monday => full.

    Hi,

    At the moment we are only collecting translation for the core plugin. We don’t have spanish translation of addons available.
