GeoDirectory 2.0 : No option for "Autosubmit the form on select a Search option"

I have read here that there was an option to update search results automatically when user has changed search parameters:

(Autosubmit the form on select a Search option: If this option is selected, the search form will automatically load the detail page of the listing selected.)

Unfortunately, I cannot find the same on my GeoDirectory version 2.

Only search button icon “fa fa-search” is shown and I do not know why my theme removed the border of this button which made it a bit confusing on what to do after customizing search parameters.

1. There should be an option for auto-update “AJAX” search results (and not reload the page too) after each search parameter adjustment.

2. I am a CSS newbie, kindly suggest to me why there is no border around the search button. I have tried !important too.
