If any of you have tried GD with divi and you cannot see the directory becuase it loads in the footer – this is how I got it to work:

*you can add this css to the /places (or whatever page you use)

I added these two lines to dvis custom css thingy:

#geodir-wrapper {width: 90%; margin: auto;}
#main-footer {background-color: #FFFFFF;}

and it looks fine! Still looking forward to a divi compatibility pack but in the meantime this will work

Hi Bill,
The Divi compatibility is coming very soon – once the new core updates have been released, everything will be double-checked to ensure compatibility with the new core, and it will be made available 🙂

Do you think GD will also work with Elegant’s Explorable? I like the design and looks of that theme.

Gotta say – am a new found fan of GD and the more I dig around – the more I like it, good stuff!

You guys certainly have your shit together…

looking to deploy a divi based GD site in about 2 months, safe to keep developing in the meantime as is?

or should I look at X to ensure a smooth rollout?

Hi Bill,
Divi compatibility is complete. With the impending drop of the new core version, it was decided to delay it’s release slightly in case i need to make any adjustments. You shouldn’t be waiting much longer, so you are safe to keep going 🙂

ps. Glad you’re a fan of GD – it’s certainly the best plugin of it’s type that i have come across (and i think i’ve tried them all) 🙂

@manilaboy The explorable theme uses different HTML wrappers, so there will be a few discrepancies. A new plugin could be made if there is demand, but as standard it would be to get GD to fit into the design, not make GD function like the listings currently do on that theme.
