    Hello,
We’re going to install a membership plugin (we’re still looking for what’s the best for us).

Each membership package have included, among other access to different parts of the web, one of three geodirectory package. I had installed a user role editor, but GD doesn’t give any option to user role. There is any way, by snippets or other way, to able or disable each GD package to different user roles? (and then manage it with a membership plugin)?.

I saw in different answers that you recommend “hiding” the add listing option with the membership plugin. But this doesn’t work for us because in this way, all the packages from GD are shown, and we want to hide the packages that aren’t in the membership bought by the user.

    Hi Sunder,

Thanks for your post. We’ve heard positive feedback from customers about the s2membership plugin. Have you tried it before?

    Thanks!

I just installed to try it, but they restrict content according to post categories, tags, posts and pages. But we need to “hide” the packages from geodirectory (maybe using the packages id?) for different memberships

Or there’s a way to have the geodirectory packages on woocommerce and use them as a product?

    Hello,

I am not clear on what you are trying to do, but, in either case, these are not features that are part of Geodirectory. Geodirectory options will let you add tags and categories to listings, configure price packages, and create useful location and location/category pages.

If you want to hide content, you will need to explore other membership/role manager plugins.

A common customization for Geodirectory is to output a body class for the package id. You can find that here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-code-snippets/#package

If you need to control lists of Listings, though, you should consider using a tag or a category on the listing.
