    Hello,

    I am trying to customise the GeoDirectory Plugin using the child theme, basically i want to change the design of the search page and detail page. I tried to copy the folder into my child theme and make the changes, but the changes are not reflecting.

    Does the GeoDirectory plugin do not support the child theme customization…?

    Please let me know, also it will be help if there is any another way to customise the design.

    Thanks for your reply. I am using the SpaLab child theme for the customization.

    First just tell me, does the GeoDirectory plugin support the child theme customization…?

    Yes, it is possible to use a child theme to customize the plugin.

    Hi Vishal,

    Thanks for your reply. We are trying to make GD compatible with all types of themes/child theme. But it depends on what you’re trying to customize. Could you tell a little bit more about it? Or perhaps you can share a URL or some screenshots in question?

    Hi Kor,

    Basically, I want to customize the search page please find the screenshot of the page.

    I tried to change the listing-listview.php file in geodirectory-templates folder, by copying it to my child theme spalab-child/geodirectory/geodirectory-templates/listing-listview.php

    But it didn’t worked, I am working on my local machine, this is not yet live.

    It will be helpful if you can tell me a sample file and the changes….. to check whether the child theme changes are overriding the plugin files.
