In regard to Geodirectory Settings > Design > Related Post Settings, I am a little confused. Can you answer the following:
1) When I chose which areas to show on with the “Show related post listing on” setting, is this different than using the widget that is available?
2) When checking the box “Enable Location Filter”, does that option supersede the sort by setting? In other words if I choose the “Enable Location Filter” will the sorting be done by distance and disregard the other sorting choices.
3) In the “Exclude selected tabs from detail page” it has a related listings tab. That is not a tab, correct? If I disable that then the related will not show up at all or am I just not understanding this at all?

Geodirectory Settings > Design > Detail

This is designed for the Detail page of a listing.

1. Yeah, I don’t think you can put a widget on a tab?

2. Dunno

3. Related Listings is a tab, you can choose not to show it. The related listings can be “related” by whatever parameter you want to specify.

1) You can’t chose where to show related listing. You can chose what to make them relate to, catgories or tags. It will always appear on a tab on the listing detail page

2) no, when you enable location filter, it only shows listings of the location selected. If you selected new york, widgets will show only places from new york. Sorting isn’t modified.
