Geodirectory V1 breaking my site when deactivated

    If I deactivate the plugin it breaks my entire site and also when it’s activated it conflicts with a plugin that I use called wpforo and causes errors with that. How can I fix this? Thanks

    If you do not have any GD addons installed, then we can have a look for you if you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply.
    Also, if you can clarify if you want the GD core plugin active or not.

    Support for Free Users (non members) is provided for website where only the core plugin is installed and used. If addons are installed and used (even only one addon), the user will have to subscribe again before being able to receive support.

    We exclusively provide support for the latest version of both the Core plugin, add-ons and themes.

    Okay so will you try and fix the issue if I deactivate all my addons because it seems to be the main plugin that is causing the issue.

    Please confirm what you are trying to do: permanently delete GD or just wanting it to be able to be de-activated for some reason?

    We can assist permanently deleting it, but it may not solve your problem because of your old version of Kleo. The problem you are having is probably because your Kleo settings require GD to be active, and everything needs updating: GD core, GD addons and Kleo.

    I don’t want to update my geodirectories to the new version as I’m happy with the original and don’t have 99$ to spare. I will update my theme and see if it makes a difference then get back to you.

    I just want to be able to deactivate the plugin, I do not want it deleted nor do I want to upgrade to the new version. I have now updated my theme but it’s still breaking the site when I deactivate it gepdirectory. All the extra plugins are now deactivated so please can you login into my site and try and fix whatever the issue is. Please use the login details provided in the private message above. Thanks

    We cannot provide support when you have premium addons installed.

    If you want Kleo to ‘work’ without GeoDirectory you should contact the Kleo authors for support.
