Hello Support Team,
where can I find the following 11 strings on the user interface and what do they exactly mean?
1. Deleting the main listing of a franchise will turn all franchises in regular listings. Are you sure wish to delete this main listing? (could not find this string)
2. If ticked it uses the auto refresh time below, if not it never refreshes unless the refresh button is clicked. (what do you mean with the refresh button?)
3. Add custom feature (could not find this string)
4. Reapeater Field (could not find this string)
5. Demo Meta Box (could not find this string)
6. Decimal point to display after point (I can not really understand this, do you mean the thousands separator?)
7. Virtual page (could not find this string)
8. Virtual <span class=”count”>(%s)</span> (could not find this string)
9. Tag listing page title (could not find this string)
10. S.No. (could not find this string)
11. Enter the title for the category listing pages. (could not find this string)

That string should pop up a message when trying to delete the main listing of a franchise set. I cannot get it to work on my test site, but see image 1.
You will find it in the source of both the frontend and backend where you can delete the listing.2. If ticked it uses the auto refresh time below, if not it never refreshes unless the refresh button is clicked.
See image 2, that is for the Google Analytics settings.3. Add custom feature
Cannot find where this ever would show to a visitor, user or admin.4. Reapeater Field
Cannot find where this ever would show to a visitor, user or admin.5. Demo Meta Box (could not find this string)
Cannot find where this ever would show to a visitor, user or admin.6. Decimal point to display after point
I’ll try to rephrase that: maximum number of integers to display after the decimal point (which may be a comma in some language formats) – not the thousands separator.
See image 37. Virtual page
I guess that is a leftover of older versions.8. Virtual <span class=”count”>(%s)</span>
I guess that is a leftover of older versions.9. Tag listing page title
GD > Titles & Metas > Tag listing page title, see image 410. S.No. (could not find this string)
Has something to do with CPTs I think, annot find where this ever would show to a visitor, user or admin.11. Enter the title for the category listing pages.
GD > Titles & Metas > Category listing page titleI’ll ask the developers to clarify 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10.
Thanks
May 4, 2018 at 9:58 am #429076Thank you Guust for your feedback.
I could find 9 and 11, but when I change something to these settings I realize, that I don’t really know which pages are the tag listing page and the category listing page. When I click on a category or on a tag of a detail page the related listing page does not update the page title as I changed it under the settings:
All %%category%% %%in_location_single%%-TEST-KATEGORY Tag: %%tag%% %%in_location_single%%-TEST-TAG
Would you like to change the settings like above and show me the pages on the demo site? This would be great, thank you.

Image 4May 4, 2018 at 3:52 pm #429134Thank you a lot Guust,
at the begin of the project I have hidden them directly in the style.css of the Supreme theme. And since I have started to customize CSS over GD I just forgot about it 🙂 Now I can see them, but I still have the problem, as with other default values for settings options, that the original strings are not replaced through the translation. Do you have an idea about this? I have the same problems with default option values for add place custom fields like Admin title, Frontend title, Frontend description. They are replaced just if I change them directly over GD but not through the translated strings.
May I ask you which screenshot tool are you using, that you can take screenshots even of tooltips?
Thank you again for your help!
May 5, 2018 at 12:25 am #429170Once you change the text like Admin title, Frontend title, Frontend description, you can no longer translate it with the language file. The language file will only translate original strings.
If other original strings are not working correctly, we would need the following to investigate:
* the exact string
* URL where we can see it
* WP admin details
* FTP detailsI use lightshot: https://app.prntscr.com
Thanks
May 8, 2018 at 2:29 pm #429542Hi Guust,
I did not change those default option values for the custom fields.
You can take a look and see, that these 3 default values for Admin title, Frontend title, Frontend description have not been replaced by the translation. You can see this under each custom field. There are also some other custom field options in English, but they are part of MultiLocation Addon, which has been not translated yet.
Greetings, Marius
