Getting the [gd_popular_post_view] shortcode working

    Hi,

    I’m trying to get the [gd_popular_post_view] shortcode working, however am not having any luck. Any ideas why?

    [gd_popular_post_view] does not exist in V2, that has been replaced with [gd_listings].
    Use the shortcode builder to get the right shortcodes.

    Is that compatible with the divi theme? Because when I select ‘Use the Divi Builder’, that button you highlighted is not available.

    Also – how do I modify the listings returned? E.g. I would like to return listings of specific post type and category.

    It is compatible with the Divi theme, but I am not familiar with the Divi Builder.
    You can use the shortcode builder on another page, and then copy the shortcode to your builder pages.

    Also – how do I modify the listings returned? E.g. I would like to return listings of specific post type and category.
    Use the advanced settings of the shortcode builder. See image.

    Great – thanks for that!

    In regards to displaying listings from a specific category – I’m not sure why the category list isn’t updating when I select my custom post type. E.g. for the ‘Accommodation’ post type, I have categories like: “Apartments”, “Hotels”, “Bed and breakfasts”, however they’re not shown in the drop down – see image. Any ideas?

    Today or tomorrow of testing goes off without a hitch. There is not a workaround or patch available at this time.
