    Hi,
When I place the Gmap Listing widget in sidebar on Listings page and set to sticky in sidebar, It becomes sticky but only a grey background is displayed. No map.
Then when i scroll up and back down, it doesn’t display anything.

Also, is there supposed to be GD Search widget areas? I feel like that’s what I’m reading, but not seeing them. Currently have Home, Listing, and Detail widget areas.

    any help is appreciated!

    thanks,
    larry

    Hi Larry
You are locking us out of admin somehow.
That page seems fine, the Map is there in the sidebar?
Have you set the sidebar to yes at GD > design > search?

Not sure what you mean locking you out.

The sticky sidebar map only displays a grey box on scroll. I’ve attached an image in the above post. I’ve tested Safari 8, Chrome 36, and Firefox 33.
the sticky sidebar map does display on the search results page, but disappears after a certain point on scrolling.

The problem are the 2 maps on 1 page. 1 in the top section, 1 in the sidebar.

You should have 1 or the other.

    Thx

I could get in now, I also changed the width of the map to a fixed width, so it stays on the side instead of it spreading over the whole page.

Let us know if there is still anything else.

I think your theme needs to support 2 sidebars, and then you just use the theme options. But I am not sure, that is John’s specialty, I’ll invite him to join this topic.
The side map does not disappear for me on that page.

And you’ll never know what the size of my browser window is, so you can’t “limit the number of listings to not extend past the bottom most widget in sidebar”.

Unfortunately the Enfold compatibility plugin doesn’t support a 3 column layout at this time because Enfold doesn’t have a 3 column layout.
If Enfold adds support for 3 columns, we will endeavour to also add support in our plugin 🙂
