Hi there,
The Google analytics on the listings sidebar doesn´t seem to do anything except loop around in circles. It worked fine on a previous installation but on my new installation I can`t get it to work proparly.Like I said, it`s in an infinate loop, no login failed message, no “no stats aivalable message”….nothing, just looping without any results.
Some help please
Thanks
December 29, 2014 at 11:05 pm #25818Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private message please, so we can have a look.
I assume you checked your setup as per http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-general/#analyticsDecember 30, 2014 at 10:40 am #25835This reply has been marked as private.December 30, 2014 at 10:46 am #25837This reply has been marked as private.December 30, 2014 at 11:00 am #25840Sorry, but those credentials are not working.
Do you have analytics set up for that URL?
And is that the code you are using?December 30, 2014 at 11:46 am #25846Interesting, not sure why the credencials are not working, as they worked fine before on a different domiain name for testing purposes. And if so, why am I not getting a message….”Login failed”? If the credencials are wrong, I imagine that I should at least get some kind of info and not just an infinate loop.
All the credencials are correct to my understanding, I will check again just to be sure.
Thank you
December 30, 2014 at 11:59 am #25849I meant I cannot login into your WP admin area, the username or password are not right.
And I cannot look at your GA account without a password.December 30, 2014 at 3:25 pm #25862This reply has been marked as private.December 30, 2014 at 10:22 pm #25906You cannot use GA code for mysite.com for yoursite.com.
You need to set up GA for the correct site, or simply wait until you transfer to the real domain.
There has been no case yet where it did not work once the correct code was entered.December 30, 2014 at 10:22 pm #25907This reply has been marked as private.January 19, 2015 at 3:54 pm #28009This reply has been marked as private.January 19, 2015 at 9:31 pm #28071I cannot find that error anywhere.
Your Google analytics Profile ID needs to include the ga.
Assuming that the number you had there was your profile ID I added ga in front.January 20, 2015 at 12:01 pm #28130Hi there,
The option known as “Show business owner google analytics stats?” was dissabled, therefor no error message was not visible in the sidebar where the stats are normally shown when enabled. I disabled it because of the error message that i am talking about, I didn`t want my clients to see the error message. I took the liberty and took a screen-shot of the error message. I´ll attach it to this message.
Note: It´s disabled now, if you want to see the error message you need the enable the previously mentioned option. If you intend to enable it to verify the error for yourself, please disable the option again once finished as I don`t want my client to see the error message.
Thank you for your time.

January 20, 2015 at 12:33 pm #28139We need to get Stiofan to look at this.
