Hi,
I’ve enabled Google Analytics for “gd_place”, but I can’t see any analytics information anywhere. I’ve also tried to upgrade a place at http://wpgeo.directory to see if this feature is enabled, but it fails when trying to pay using PayPal…
Can you tell us where should we see this information? Can you send us a screenshot, please?
Thank you in advance!
June 6, 2014 at 7:56 pm #3744Hi and pardon the delay in replying, did you follow this steps? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/google-analytics/
June 8, 2014 at 4:27 pm #3791To jump on this thread, the instructions at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/google-analytics/ aren’t quite clear enough I don’t think.
First, the plugin asks for API login and pwd, but is that the master account password? If so, does that mean the master account is setup for API access?
If not, what process do we use to setup access to the GA API? I’ve got API access, but from here I’m not sure…should I configure a client service ID via OAuth?
Am I over-thinking this? 🙂
Also, why is API access needed? I’ve got no problem with it, but this feature isn’t really explained (at least not anywhere I can find).
Thanks,
Jason
June 9, 2014 at 5:17 pm #3843Yes, @paolo, I followed the steps. I’m not sure if this is working or not because I don’t know where I should see the analytics information. Maybe if you could send us a screenshot I could check if I’m looking into the right place.
@sporkmarketing I think the instructions are easy enough. If you check the “Google Analytics password for api” section you will get the answer to your questions. API is needed to get Google Analytics data. Without using the API, developers can’t get access to this information.
June 15, 2014 at 6:43 pm #4314I guess the GA statistics should show up in the gd-sidebar in listing details page like on this screenshot:

Unfortunately, I also do not see any GA stat although I have it enabled to show in the GA tab. Please advise.June 19, 2014 at 1:38 am #4951Hi,

June 30, 2014 at 7:48 pm #6857Hi, unfortunately, I don’t see any Google Analytics stats anywhere on the detail page, although I have logged in and checking my own listing. Is there a special setting that I need to turn on? Please advise. My login info is below.

http://wpgeo.directory/restaurants/russia/gorod-moskva/moscow/diner/cafe-pushkin/
Could you switch on the Google Analytics on wpgeo.directory so I can see how it looks like?PS. Btw, the breadcrumb on this page says it is in the US?
Home > Restaurants > United States > Diner > Cafe Pushkin
but the address and the map in sidebar are in Russia -
