In case of OpenStreetMap API is possible to entry GPS co-ordinate to the address field.
In case of Google Maps API is not possible to entry GPS co-ordinate to the address field, so in case of the place without address there is no way how to use GPS.
Please, enable it. Google API has such functionality.Version: 1.6.25
including multilocationsMarch 10, 2018 at 7:23 pm #421008I will flag your request for the developers and they can let us know their thoughts.
March 10, 2018 at 7:33 pm #421013Can you explain how you are using that?

March 11, 2018 at 5:29 pm #421103Dear Stiofan,
thanks for the reply.
Steps>
1) Select OpenStreetMap API (Geodirectory – Design – Map – Select MAPS API – Use OpenStret API)
2) Save
3) Create place on the map, fill GPS co-ordinates into the Address, click outside the Address field
4) App automatically fills the Country, Region, City and put the marker on the right position within the map
5) Save, everything OK6) Register and test the Google Maps API key, enter it into the GeoDir Geodirectory – Design – Map – Google API key), save the settings
7) Switch the API settings to the Google or automatic (Geodirectory – Design – Map – Select MAPS API – Use Google Map API or Automatic)
8) Save
9) Create place on the map, fill GPS co-ordinates into the Address, click outside the Address field
10) Nothing happens, the co-ordinates are unrecognized, trying every Google supported formatWe have places without address, GPS co-ordinates only, so we need it.
Using OpenStreet Map API leads to troubles, because region, city, country is automatically fill using local character set – for example Greece places are automatically market as “θεσσαλία-στερεά-ελλάδα/περιφέρεια-στερεάς-ελλάδας” (Thermopyles 🙂 )
March 12, 2018 at 11:34 am #421183With Google maps whatever you enter in the street address has the rest of the info taged on,
so if u enter “123.123,321.321”, that is not what is sent to Google, it will be “123.123,321.321, Glasgow, Strathclyde, GB”
Why are u specifically using GPS co-ordinates and do you expect your customers to use them?

March 12, 2018 at 1:10 pm #421196OK, does it means, that WPGeo sends to the OpenStreetMap API address or co-ordinartes and to the Google Map API not ?
Sending the address “43.0012, 12.088” is interpreted as a GPS co-ordinates when OpenStreetMap API is active.
We are using GPS co-ordinates because we like to work with places on the map :-). Most of places does not have the street address – like camps, RW parking places, beaches etc. We are expecting work with co-ordinates, not only to create the place, but to create routes and navigate our customers to the right destinations.
We are finding out how to show GPS co-ordinates on the website.
Lets see it on https://all4camper.com/en (sorry, the internationalization is still on progress)
March 12, 2018 at 7:04 pm #421246I think OSM just interprites it better.
This is not really the intended use for the street address input, but if you ping me next week i will take a look at it again in GDv2.Thanks,
Stiofan
