I started by adding the Google Maps API in GeoDirectory > Design > Maps section. After that was done, I went to Set Default Location and I got the following error: “Opps! Something went wrong.”

I researched on your website this problem and found and article in the forum. The plugin suggested to download the Google Maps API Plugin. That plugin was downloaded and installed. The API key saved, but the error persists.

After that didn’t work. I tried turning off all the plugins except the Google Maps API plugin and your GeoDirectory Plugin. This didn’t work either.

The Google Maps API Plugin is not required at all. If things don’t work after a few minutes with the API key installed at GD > Design > map, then most likely there is an error in the setup of the API key.

    Thanks

Yes, thank you for the response. I figured it out. Your instructions do not mention anything about setting the OAuth consent screen. Once that was filled out, the map came up.
