Hello,
Good night.I’m opening a support ticket, as requested in the WordPress forum, on the KEY for Google Maps API.
I will put here all the content available in the forum WordPress.
####################Content Forum WordPress######################
Good afternoon.
I use the plugin on my wordpress website, and the same, because it is not working properly, does not allow the registration of my products. The plugin, along with the Key API are configured on a real estate sales site, but I am not able to register my products because the site needs the address of the registered property, but because of the plugin, the address that I registered is validated and the registration is not finalized.
– when I developed the site using the theme mentioned and using the plugin together, the map was displayed correctly. There were no flaws in displaying the map.
– The problem actually began to occur when it was necessary to update the account information, activating the billing information, which was done correctly as well.
– After that, the information in the map of my site, configured through your plugin with my API key, is the message of “for development purpose only”.
I contacted Google support, where I was informed by the attendant that their plugin is not handling the API correctly in the code, overriding the “&” concatenation character.
Follow the example quoted by the Google technician.
##########################################
“key = API_KEY # 038; libraries = places” (I compiled your API key for security purposes)But it should be like this (check out the ampersand):
“key = API_KEY & libraries = places”
* Currently, our system detects that your API key ends at places. If you can remember in Evan’s first response in this case, I mentioned that your API key looks like this: “API_KEY ***** aces”. That is because it ends with the “places”. This means that your API key is getting invalidated because of the plugin.
#########################################I can forward to you the entire message I received from Google support.
At the bottom of the page, the location of the property appears through Google Maps. And on this map, the message “for development purpose only” appears and the map appears darkened as well.
The biggest problem happens in the page of cadastre of the property, where the address is a key item. Without the address being validated by the map, the property can not be registered. That way, I have lost some sales, because I can not register the real estate.
Here are images that describe the problem I’m having for the real estate registry, because the plugin is not displaying the information correctly.

Thanks for your post. I believe you’re referring to this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/api-key-for-google-maps/ . When I inspected your Website, the map is already working fine.
March 25, 2019 at 6:15 am #476270Hi!
Thanks for letting us know about that, and coming here to our forum to provide an update.
I will pass your topic on to the developers who will have a look and make appropriate adjustments.
Thank you so much!
April 15, 2019 at 1:43 am #480694Good night.
Thank you so much for the return.Kor, about what he commented, the following happens:
– On the website, on the product page, the map even appears, and when I click on location points such as subway stations or nearby places, it even displays a window with the data and asks if you want to display the location in GoogleMaps, but , map functions such as zoom (more or less), map type, or the current location do not work. As I say in the document, the plugin stopped operating the map correctly. I did update the biling mode for my API key, but even then, there were no improvements. As I explained earlier, because of this situation, I am not able to register real estate on my sales site, because the address of the property is mandatory the registration.
I’m waiting for a return.
Thank you.

Provide site link & admin credentials to check more. It could be possible that there is another map loaded on site.

May 14, 2019 at 12:06 am #486242Dear Kiran,
Good afternoon.Unfortunately, I can not create a user with admin credentials for you to use.
What I can do is send the information that you think is being modified, so I can solve this problem.
In the plugin, I already added the GOOGLE API in the configuration screen. From what I understand, by adding this key, the plugin will place the key in the places where the code requests this key to display the map.
Within this dynamic, what does it suggest to be done?
In time: on my site, when I register the address of my properties for sale, I get this image, attached.
tks
