@paolo, then I will need to convert everything to GD, then apply Whoop, GD Events, GD Listing, etc?
May 16, 2016 at 7:17 pm #192455Events should be active with GeoDirectory before converting.
Than you would activate whoop and any other extra add-ons.
Thanks

May 17, 2016 at 5:11 pm #193052Can we move a bit quicker? I want to make sure all the issues, the tool is fixed and the instructions are clear so I can move my site this weekend.
This has been 3 weeks (GT is already falling apart) and a LOT of my time to troubleshoot with you.
Thanks,

May 17, 2016 at 5:51 pm #193115Got it – since I had asked the question two weeks ago on my first dev site, I thought I wouldn’t have to do it again.
May 17, 2016 at 6:09 pm #193126Pending Questions:
6) Where is the equivalent of the Post Submit Success to Client Email? That’s the most import of the notifications. (and will you ever do a published successfully email for those who send all submissions to draft?)
7) Can we export our GD settings from one site to another? Since we’ve already done the work but have to do it again?
8) Link to initial GT to GD tutorial. I’m locked out of GT.https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/gt-geotheme-to-gd-conversion/#post-185693
1) Connection between places & events gone – FIXED
2) Custom Recursions correct on listings page, but not on side widget on event detail page. Shows only first recurrence – FIXED
3) Category top descriptions missing – FIXED
4) Event dates – randomly missing on GD widgets – FIXED (so far as I can tell)
5) Package Features – for example, allow recurring events on Package X did not convert over – FIXEDMust update manually:
Login, Add Event, Add Business
Permalink Settings
Widgets
Sidebars
Notification Emails
Menus (event and place post types)
Reset Blog Page
Different Sidebar for Place/Event: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/geotheme-to-gd-widget-mapping/#post-187910GT to GD Theme Changes:
Social Login: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-social-login/
Lose breadcrumbs, sidebars and widgets on all posts/pages
Lose In the Neighborhood widget, Footer RSS feed, Footer Latest news and Blog template page

May 17, 2016 at 6:55 pm #193151Ah – I didn’t see all the options under notifications. OK but these have to redone manually, right?
Other than that good to go. Fingers crossed. Please let me know when the new conversion tool is out.
May 18, 2016 at 11:36 am #193468I have released 1.0.1 and uploaded it in the tutorial: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/geotheme-to-geodirectory-conversion-tutorial/

If you have tags with the same slug this can happen, is this the case?
