Does GeoDirectory work with this plugin and, if so, can it be added to the /places/ page to translate the listings automatically?
Thanks!
May 2, 2016 at 4:27 pm #183788Hi,
I’m sorry but we never tested it, so we can’t really give you an answer on that.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
May 2, 2016 at 4:42 pm #183803I’ve been using Google Translate on all my sites and it does a good job of translating everything but graphics, of course. With the Avada theme I just add the code for the translate button to the pages. I was just wondering how I would add this same code or the GTranslate code to the “places” page?
May 2, 2016 at 4:44 pm #183805Where would you like to add it exactly?
May 2, 2016 at 5:07 pm #183831Avada uses what they call Fusion Builder which is basically a WYSIWYG editor but they also have a default editor which shows you the code. I just added the code to the page. The “places” page is basically a results type page and I don’t see anywhere to edit the code. Because all the directories are in Ecuador I would like the pages to show in Spanish as well.
On another point I have been trying to figure out what we can afford to invest in with the plugin. Found at least twenty sites offering codes for 50-75% off but none of the codes work. Other sites just link to yours with no codes showing. Very confusing. We were going to go with the four month plan for $60 but we would like to have something longer. Just can’t go the $150 route right now.
May 2, 2016 at 5:13 pm #183864The places page is an archive page, like a category page. How would you add that code to an avada archive?
Wouldn’t it be better to add it once in the header or in the footer for all pages of the website?
There are no valid coupons at the moment. There isn’t anything I can do about it.
Thanks
May 2, 2016 at 6:05 pm #183925Ideally I would like to be able to have the translate button appear on the page like it is here – http://www.atuntaquitoday.info/ if it would possible translate everything in the directory. Failing that I would like to be able to have it on the page with the detail on the listings because that has the most content.
Guess I’ll go ahead with the four month plan for now then.
Thanks.
May 2, 2016 at 6:53 pm #183941You could add it via a text widget in all GD pages sidebars.
From Appearance >> Widgets.
GD Home Right Section
GD Listing Right Sidebar
GD Details Right Sidebarand so on.
There would be no other easy way to put it on GD pages.
Thanks
May 2, 2016 at 11:25 pm #184053I added a text widget in every place I could think of including the ones you suggested. It saves fine but after viewing the page there’s nothing there and when i come back to the text widget all the code has been stripped.
May 3, 2016 at 3:41 pm #184334Hi,
please provide the code for that widget along with a link and admin credentials of your website in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
