Please check out powerlily.io/hub and try to do a search for something and you’ll see what I mean. Seems to pull everything instead of the specified CPT. Even getting group buddy drive uploads.
Might be a plugin conflict. I will leave admin details below in case they are needed.January 11, 2017 at 2:23 am #340685This reply has been marked as private.January 11, 2017 at 3:50 am #340704Works fine for me.
Are you searching with the GD Search or the normal WP search?January 11, 2017 at 2:40 pm #340960Yeah I mean the GD search on the GD_Home top section. Currently you can’t search for anything because the hourglass spins indefinitely after you type something in. It’s not auto-completing categories either and pulling weird results. Definitely playing up. Try a search from https://powerlily.io/hub and you’ll see what I mean.
January 11, 2017 at 2:45 pm #340961Also the map won’t load new data when you scroll on it.
January 11, 2017 at 2:48 pm #340964Actually ignore that, I think it’d just being slowed down. I intend to use a cdn in the future so it should fix the map loading slowly.
January 11, 2017 at 2:55 pm #340966But the map icons now only say [object][object] when you click them instead of information…. It’s a bit tedious.
January 11, 2017 at 5:35 pm #341047Hi Tom,
I’ve tried searching for the keyword “Solar” and the map is not displaying. Upon inspecting, I noticed that there is console error with the message “You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.”. http://prntscr.com/ducorg
This could be caused by some type of conflict with a plugin. Could you try deactivating all non-gd plugins and see if it fixes the issue there?
Thanks!
January 11, 2017 at 5:46 pm #341050Yeah I’m not sure why it thinks there’s code twice on the page. The map does show for me and seems to be working normally now. The problem I’m having is with the gd search. It seems to be pulling all 48 odd posts whenever I try to search for something specific. If I keep the cpt to installer and set the region to quebec it just pulls everything, including group docs. It’s really weird. It will autocomplete places and when I click it it takes me there, so that’s good. But doing actually searches seems to be broken.
January 11, 2017 at 6:28 pm #341060Hi,
there is a javascript error and GD Booster is not happy with it.

I’ve alerted the developers who will help us fix this.
They will let us know asap.
Thanks
January 11, 2017 at 8:21 pm #341150Okay great, thank you!
January 11, 2017 at 10:27 pm #3411841. The double MAP API call is from “Location Autocomplete for BuddyPress Profiles” plugin.
2. So far I have tried the search about 5 times and I get no issues while logged in. It only happens when not logged in for me.
3. “It’s not auto-completing categories”: where do you expect that? Autocompletion is only for listing Titles or Locations, see
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#near
and
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#search4. There is no map on the search page because there is no map widget added to any of the GD Search sections.
January 11, 2017 at 10:48 pm #341189I thought there might be an issue with that plugin since it deals with addresses. I am continuously having issues. The default category for the gd search is solar installers, if I keep this and select say, Canada, as a region, instead of pulling up anything remotely close to “solar installers” or even “canada” I get a list of all 48 posts on the site. When I said autocompleting categories I meant autocompleting listings within a category. And in fact it does autocomplete listing categories such as “photovoltaics” one of the sub(?) categories of the “solar installer” CPT although clicking this brings me to a page with no results, even though this is the default category for all solar isntallers.
I believe Paolo above noticed an error and hopefully pursing this will solve my problems.
I am aware there is no map widget on search gd search.
If you are searching on gd home which is /hub on my site and working then I am very confused. For me it doesn’t matter if I’m logged in or not.
Really need help with this one as it was working fine before.
January 11, 2017 at 10:52 pm #341192If you type solar and you see the utility scale installs popping up these aren’t solar installers, they are the “completed systems” cpt. In fact, this may be why you’re confused, searching solar seems to pull 28 results which is not all of them, but there is still content here that shouldn’t be here. It is pulling any post with solar in it without looking at the post type.
January 11, 2017 at 10:52 pm #341193Is it maybe browser related too? I see everything Tom says on Firefox. I haven’t tested with Chrome nor Edge/Safari.
I’m 100% sure there is a JS error that is breaking the combined script generated by GD Booster.
Kiran will enlighten us all as soon as he comes back online 🙂
