Hide featured section on static front page

    Hi, I created a custom page and set that as the GD homepage/static front page. Is there an easy way to hide or prevent the display of the featured section/area containing the search filter and popular categories icons? I’m thinking that this could be done by hiding the whole section via css but just wondering if there’s a cleaner way of doing that. Using latest version of WP and GD core. Thanks in advance.

    The easiest way is definitely with CSS.
