I am hoping to launch my directory site soon and I would like to offer users a 30 Day Free Trial with full features (ie unlimited text, photos video, contact details etc). At the end of the free trial an auto email will invite users to choose from a Standard, Business or Premium listing. Otherwise their listing will automatically revert to a Basic Listing with limited features ie limited text, no contact details, 1 photo etc.
So my question is, what is the best way to make this happen? I have already created the prices (30 Day Free Trial, Basic Listing, Standard, Business, Premium) but all of them are listed as ‘select package’ to the user. I want to hide the 30 Day Free Trial and Basic Listing options, without disabling them. Is this possible?
I am open to any suggestions for starting off my directory and the kind of packages you would recommend I offer users? I thought a 30 day free trial with full features would give users a taste of how good a full featured listing is. Also, I plan to populate the site with as many listing as I can first, before inviting everyone en-mass to claim their listings.
