Hide popular listings on detail page

    I’d like to be able to hide the LATEST PLACES in the right hand sidebar on a detail page, but find that removing it from code also removes it from the home page. Could be I’m using the wrong home page also as I’d prefer that to show the map and a list of all entries not most popular. Bit of a newbie with this, have tried hiding with css, and no joy.

    Apologies, after days of messing with code, I just found that the software installs widgets – how simple! And how dumb am I?

    Hi Adrian,

    Glad you found it, the whole widget thing is basic wordpress, if you are new to wordpress i suggest watching a few youtube videos to help the learning process. 🙂
