Higher First Year Cost

I’m going to be offering 3 pricing levels on my site, the first two will stay the same each year, but the 3rd one i want it to be more expensive for the first year, as this will include some extra offline services, but its a one time thing so I want the price to drop the second years onward.

I know that its not possible to do this with geo directory automatically,

but I was thinking whether its possible manually.

If someone signs up for my level 3 pricing, if before i approve the listing, i change the listing down to be a level 2 priced listing, will it renew at the the level 2 price or the level 3 price after a year?
