Just wondering if it is possible to add categories from more than one CPT to the homepage map?

Have trawled through the docs and forums and think possibly not, though thought someone may have figured out workaround.

    Thanks, Anthony

    Hi there,

Yes, that’s possible. It should display all the categories on the map by default. If it doesn’t work for you, do you think you can share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor,

Unfortunately I’m working on a local development environment.

So just to clarify, are you saying that categories from say both “places” and “events” should display on the home page by default? If so, then I must have altered something in the settings that’s changed that.

I am using the Supreme Directory theme if that has any influence over map settings.

    Thanks, Anthony

    Hi,

no that is not correct. By default it will show the Places categories and you have a secondary navigation below the map with all other CPT installed. Clicking on any CPT will load the related categories. (this if you are using the correct map).

    Hope this helps.

    Let us know,

    HI Paolo,

Yes, that is what I thought and what I have.

On one site I am working on there will be a relatively small number of categories, so I was hoping to find a way of displaying categories from Events, Places and another cpt together on the home page map.

Had just hoped to find an easy way of doing this.

    Thanks anyway, Anthony

    Hi,

I’m sorry, but there is not.

    Thanks
